Our Story

Founded in 2024 through DePaul University's Idea Realization Lab, Winkler Guitars utilized this maker space's resources to optimize the production of electric guitars while maintaining a hand-made feel and fully customizable experience. Our innovative use of both modern machinery and traditional tools allows us to maintain low prices, create never-before-seen designs, and provide a seamless design to fabrication process for our clients.

Pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Performing Arts Management, Zach Winkler combines his skills as a lifelong guitarist and performer to craft each instrument to its greatest potential.

Pursuing a Bachelor’s in Science with majors in Applied Mathematics and Sound Recording Technology, Jonathan Shepard is devoted to optimizing the production of Winkler Guitars
